Good place, good people.
The office was very friendly, the place is beautiful with the 🌴 trees and the sunset over the bay, clubhouse is clean with many things to do.The park is fantastic.
For the second year in a row the wife and I rented a 20′ Bay boat for an 8 hour day. I can’t say enough about the staff there at Presnell’s, they are incredible. Travis took time to blow the dew off the boat before we boarded and the equipment was in great shape.
We’ve been vacationing in the area for 14 straight years and passed by here a lot, our stay here was amazing, staff was friendly and responsive. Would return here in a heartbeat.
Very nice people in the office. Great location for wanting to be on the Gulf Beaches.
It’s a fun, quaint RV park. Nothing elaborate but has everything you might need. We stayed a month.
I strongly recommend Presnell’s RV Resort. This place suits me just fine: gravel interior roads, flat gravel/dirt pads, clean (and rather large) bath/shower area, nice shade and best of all waterfront access. From my 2 night stay, it seems that about 75% of the folks are snowbirds, but there seemed to be a few nice open spots. There’s a grocery store less than 5 minutes up the road and fresh fish sold at Hunt’s which is right next door. I would happily stay at Presnell’s again. We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
RV park. Friendly people.
Very nice area.
We have stayed twice and will return in March, the staff is friendly and the lots across the street are big. Enjoyed our month and loved the location and cost . Great value .
Nice Park very nice manager 👍
Place was quiet. Clean. Organized. With a great view to the sunset. They have heated pool. Would be better like 2 or 5 more degrees. Some sites were little small for 5th wheels. I mean the rv will fit but not leaving much of space for the truck.
Campsite backed up to a canal just off the Bay. Beautiful spot, we will be back.
Presnell’s has become our official PSJ vacation destination spot now that we bought our RV. We’ve stayed 3 times this year, all waterfront. So worth the views and convenience. Sunset views are phenomenal! Edwina in the office is the funniest and sweetest lady, always so helpful. The groundskeeper is really nice and does a superb job keeping the ground tidy and clean. Looking forward to our next trip!
Always enjoy some salt therapy!
Amazing place! Beautiful and extremely convenient.
Great RV Park!
When we pull into Presnell’s it feels like we are at home. The sunsets are our favorite. The campground is always clean and well-kept.
We enjoy this campground and have come back several years during scalloping season.
Great location for scalloping and fishing
We’ve stayed here several times and always have a wonderful time. The staff is extremely helpful, they have a really nice club house, about to offer a 2nd pool and hot tub on the other half of the facility, has it’s own boat launch which was great since our most recent trip was during scalloping season and we brought our boat. Highly recommend Presnells.
I loved this place back in the 60s and 70s when I was a kid.
Haven’t stayed there yet, but soon. Great views, quiet location, and Great rates and facilities. They also have storage for RVs. Just happened to stop and check it out…
A thunderstorm chased us off the water a little before noon. We returned to the dock, and we were allowed to get lunch and then return. They simply extended the hours of our rental to make up for the time we lost to the rain.
Excellent customer service.
Great place for RV and boat!
We had a delightful stay here for a week’s vacation. It was clean and everyone was friendly. Bathrooms are nice and well-ventilated, which is great in the Florida heat and humidity.
Great campground, very clean and quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend A+++
Great park. Very clean and close proximity to so many things in the area. We will be back for sure!! We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Rented a boat for the day. Had a blast. Thanks guys
I love this place and the area is nice.
This is a great campground right on the bay. The spots are nice and level. The bathrooms are very clean. The store has quite a but giving its size and the prices are pretty good. Every interaction we had with the staff was always great. We will definitely be coming back here again and hopefully during scallop season!
Amazing views, and super friendly service! Will definitely be back!
This was our first time here. I did some research with Google Maps and was able to see the park and locate our spot #40 with trees. Pool very clean and staff and all great. There are lots of spaces with trees and lots with out. We liked it so well we booked 3 more stays before end of year and are storing our camper here. Close to eat and Cape San Blas is 10 mins away with awesome beaches. If you want a family place to stay and beaches that are great for kids and grandkids(thats what we took) then this is a great place We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
Breathtaking sunsets and a very quiet, well maintained campground. Staff is super friendly…
We have been coming here for 6 years. I would highly recommend this place very laid back not to crowded everyone is friendly and nice. They keep the place up. The south ga crowd had there karaoke buddy come in and put a two night show on the kids and everyone enjoyed it singing having a good time. They have a nice club house washer and dryer’s bathrooms. The cubhouse view over the bay has the most beautiful sunsets.
My family and I enjoyed camping at Presnells during the weekend of the 4th and met the “new” management and seen them all around the camp ground during our stay they were wonderful. Very attentive to the grounds and the needs of campers during the busy holiday weekend. The grounds were clean and cheerful with forth of July decor. The karaoke was very enjoyable and they even let the kids join in. I spent a lot of time around the pool and enjoyed the older crowd who was very respectful and not drunk at all. The quiet time was respected during my stay and the whole camp ground seemed to enjoy the pool and the karaoke. I personally asked the new manager to mow my site after I moved my stuff and it was done in a timely manner. The office staff was very kind and friendly. We will definitely be returning next summer. The sunsets were beautiful and whole campground very relaxing.
One of the most relaxing experiences of my lifetime! Beautiful sunsets and good fishing! Already planning our next trip! Very nice staff
My home away from home! The grounds are pristine and the amenities are always very clean. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. I love the friends we have met camping there over the years! Presnells is perfectly situated between St Joe Beach and the cape. You are close to the grocery store and the restaurants. Hands down the best sunsets you will see. Highly recommend!
This is a great, laid-back camping spot on the Florida Gulf Coast. Pet friendly. No issues whatsoever with management, neighbors, things-to-do, or anything else. Rented kayaks from Pressnell’s and spent one afternoon exploring St Joe Bay. Lovely little spot for a nice, relaxing getaway! We will definitely return.
Presnell’s RV park is a great place to sit back and relax in a quiet place on the Florida Panhandle. We have stayed there three times in the last four years. The park is well maintained and is a fabulous spot for picturesque sunsets. I am rating this park as a 5 star because it is well maintained and in an excellent location even though we did not enjoy it as much due to our location. We were parked right next to Route 30A and the traffic noise is annoying. So, if road noise bothers you do not use sites 1-3 on the water side or 72-78 in the new section. The park recently added a new section across the street from the main park. The new section will have a new clubhouse, pool and possibly a hot tub. We purchased the upgraded WiFi package and were able to stream Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. Without difficulty. AT&T coverage was good. Port St. Joe has a nice downtown with a couple of nice restaurants. The Piggly Wiggly grocery store is also in the downtown. We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Internet service provided by Eleven wireless is generally acceptable for email. Other aspects not so much. Eleven offers better service for a price but the consumer has no way of knowing if they are getting what they pay for. I purchased a weekend package to try it and it seemed no better than the standard (free) internet service. We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Beautiful resort with many sights right on the water. The sights are gravel, but are packed down really well and fairly level. We had to put one of the yellow leveling blocks under the tires on one side. There is no sandy beach so don’t expect to be able to sit with your toes in the sand, but the views are still wonderful. We did not stay right on the water, but in one of the new spots right across the road near the rv storage. Don’t worry, it’s only a 50.- 75 yard walk to the water and you can still see the water from inside our trailer. The people in the office are super friendly. The other tenants seem friendly. There is a heated pool. A small exercise room with a treadmill and stationary bike. A small game room, and a laundry room. Laundry is probably the most expensive I’ve seen and we’ve been full time since June 2021! It’s $4.00 to wash a load. $.75 to dry, but someone in there said don’t let that fool you, to get them dry you’ll have to run it twice. We’ll do our laundry next week, thanks. The clubhouse also has a TV room where you can gather with friends and watch the game. All in all, it’s a really nice park. We are enjoying it. We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
We joined friends here. Small, clean and friendly campground. We stayed in a water front site for two days and the balance of our stay was one row in. Since we are a class A and you have to back in most of the sites the second row affords you a beautiful view out your front window. Site 11 is a fabulous spot, if visit again it would be my pick. We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Nice park. Site’s are close, but not too close. Site’s are mostly log back ins. Gravel and sandy level sites. Picnic table. 50amp power 122v on both legs. Sewer close to center. WATER Pressure a little low at 40 psi. Warm pool is nice and bathhouse is clean. Check In is easy. Roads are wide but check that going the opposite way may make a better back. Especially the corners. St Joe is a nice little town 4 miles away and has great restaurants. We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Views are gorgeous! Only thing I wish they offered would be a pull in site for my motorhome! Already planning our next stay here! We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Truly a hidden gem great sunsets awesome staff We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
We came here for the water views and the seafood, and we got what we wanted. Park checkin was efficient and very courteous. Our site was big enough for our motorhome, and we weren’t too close to our neighbors. Because our site was a back-in, we had a good view of the water out our windshield, and that was nice. The pool was heated to a comfortable 85, which was nice on the chilly days we were there. All utilities worked well. The WiFi worked, but it was very slow (measured at .97 mbps down and .71 mbps up). It was good for email and not much else. Fortunately, my T-Mobile set worked fine for when I needed serious communication. We are not boaters, but there is a boat ramp on property for those who are (the ramp was closed for some reason when we were there, so I would call in advance if you plan to use it). Since the campground faces west, the sunsets can be spectacular. Overall, a nice place to say on Florida’s “forgotten coast”. We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Beautiful sunsets, Bayside water views, relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of room to maneuver, roomy sites and good hook ups We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
This is our 2nd visit to Prenells and we love it! Had a back in site on the water that thrilled us with beautiful nightly sunsets and siting of cranes and herons fishing daily. Its close to the little town of Port St Joe and we were happy to see its recovery since Hurricane Michael. The staff is friendly and accommodating and they do have a marina & boats to rent if you like. We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
Great ocean views, beautiful sunsets!! Water access (definitely not “beach”) with plenty of wildlife. Saw hermit crabs and horseshoe crabs. Kayaks, paddleboards and boats available to rent. Beautiful “clubhouse” with an upper deck to watch those sunsets, with nice showers and laundry facilities. Plenty of room for our 45′ rig and toad. Since it was a back-in site, we had to disconnect our toad. We needed to anyway, to visit the beautiful areas around Port St. Joe. Nice swimming pool.
Cable, adequate wi-fi. Definitely will return! We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
This is the best RV park! We extended our stay the sunset views are amazing.
Great place to park and stay for a while. Super nice office folks. Super clean and very well kept! We’ll be back for sure!
We had a great experience at Presnell’s. Facilities were nice, and the staff were friendly. Can’t beat the sunsets over the bay.
Best view and one of my favourite places to camp .. sites are not too close and the pool is inviting ♥️
We rented a pontoon and the folks before us were late so we gotten older one without front benches but Old Trusty took great care of us. Paperwork was quick, There was a cart to help us load our stuff and the gentleman got us out on the water in no time. We crossed the bay to the tip of the cape and dropped anchor and walked and swam. Then road down the cape towards the cove of the state park, saw tons of sting rays and fish. We saw 3 dolphins out front of the cove which was great then we saw a sea turtle!! That was amazing as it was my first time to see one in the wild! Crossing the bay we say 2 more dolphins that swam alongside our boat then one swam back n forth in front of the boat, I swear it looked at us and was showing off! What a day!
Loved this campground!! We were water front and backed up to the marina access. From inside our rig, looked like we were literally in a boat! Water views out every window.
Very clean place. Nice (small) laundry facilities. Nice shower house and pool. Small workout room as well. Kayak rental.
Propane fill station. Small gift shop in office. FHU, level sites.
Very close to town with lots of dining options and shopping.
Great RV park. Wonderful ladies in the office. Thanks Kim for all your help.
Loved it it was a lot of fun
We just had a wonderful week here. Our kids had a blast and being right on the water is amazing. It was so quiet and the bay breeze was great for enjoying the evenings and sunsets. We already booked next year.
Excellent customer service. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
They have clean beautiful sites friendly staff. They do everything they can to make your stay the best it can be. They also have a lady who makes pies. we order a coconut cream, bet I’ve ever had. This is our second stay here I’m sure it will be a yearly tradition.
Camping on Bayside lots, watching sunsets and kayakers and fishing guides come in and out of canal, great people working front desk all around. Great experience and already have 2 weeks reserved for next year…
Great place. We loved being right on the water.
Recommended! I thought it was a little spendy…but you are right in the ocean! Just bought my RV this week and drove down from Minnesota, epic. I’ll remember this place forever! 😃
Very nice park. Great location. Close to many beautiful beaches. Great fishing along this coast. Very nice heated pool and amenities. Short drive for stores and restaurants. So many friendly people! Will definitely be back. We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Beautiful park , gorgeous sunsets, people here are awesome, park management is awesome, very clean , we will definitely be back
We just got here today but we’re loving it so far. The spaces are big, friendly folks, nice view, super clean and well kept. We’ll be back!!
We just spent the month of December here and loved it. The staff and management are very friendly and helpful. We stayed with three disabled rescue dogs and campground was perfect for them. The grounds and facilities are incredibly well maintained. The icing on the cake is the spectacular sunsets that you can watch from the sites. We just made another month long reservation for next year.
Don’t be tricked, other places say “last RV park on the beach in Florida”. Not true. There are several. This is a great one. Don’t fall for “our last spot” either. These folks don’t do that.
This place:
• competitive price and value
• bayfront, launch your boat, kayak, paddle board easily
• bay is shallow
• visit Cape San Blas, Port St. Joe, Black’s Island
• easy ride from PCB
• lots of new stuff around, since rebuilt from Hurricane Michael 2 years ago
• Port St. Joe received FL grant for development in 2020
• Launch your boat, use the PSJ canal to the intercoastal.
• great pool, heated, clean, open
• clubhouse currently closed
• many great restaurants around, and downtown PSJ
• don’t forget to visit Apalachicola
• The Piggly Wiggly grocery is good, has variety including organic, good quality
• The seafood market practically next door is excellent.
• I can’t think of anything missing from this trip.
• Can be calm and relaxing, or active, or do some tourist stuff
• close by fishing, world famous scalloping, world famous oyster in Apalachicola
• astonishing sunsets
• good for any type of group, family, friends, solo, couple
• Loved it.
Very clean and updated campground. We are more State Park campers for the feel is a little tight. Employees were VERY friendly. Nicely rebuilt park after the hurricane 2 years ago. Bathrooms, pool and clubhouse all new.
Site quality was very clean and nice, the only reason 4 stars is the site was a shorter than advertised. Listed as 65 was closer to 45. Our vintage RV is 40 feet long, had to park our chase vehicle in the grass instead of our front.
I like this rv park. I park on the waterfront. The sites r fairly large. Great staff. I didn’t use the bath house r the laundry so I can’t speak about them. We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
My take. I think the name says it. This is first a marina that also has an RV park. This was our first stay here however had driven past many times prior to Hurricane Michael. We found this to be a very nice park with a pool which was actively used, a club house, clean shower and bath facilities, and most of all a ramp for campers and Guld County Residents to use. They have property across the street where many boaters leave their trailers. The park is in between Port St Joe and Cape San Blas. An easy drive to other areas as well. My only take away for the park (but does not affect my rating) is I found it tough to walk my dog within the park. I used the area across the street which has 17 acres which most appears to be wooded. Our dog is a runner, so she stayed leashed there though park staff allowed dog could run loose. Wi-Fi was good though could be slow when all came off the water. They have boat rentals as well as offer guide services. We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Nice, clean park. Perfect for kayaking!
Clean facilities. Roomy sites. Full hook-ups. Friendly staff. Kayaks and boat rentals available.
Great place to get away! Our family had a blast, and the sunsets were wonderful!
Everything! Nice big pool, bay access and marina. Great shopping nearby.
great place to camp and fish. Been coming here for almost a decade and so happy with the new improvements!
right on the water, and friendly staff
great rv park. super clean.
What a great place to stay. Everyone is so friendly and the views are spectacular. We will be back!
We rented a pontoon from them for an afternoon and they were wonderful! Very nice people!!
Amazing RV park! We had a water front campsite & the sunsets were fabulous. Clean bathhouse & Laundry. Thanks for a Wonderful Journey & will be back to see you again!
Early February 3 night stay in Port St. Joe at Presnell’s First time there, and will be back. Other than the weather the first night, we had a great stay. Dog friendly, and the people we met were nice. Clean park, and nice size spots.
Wife and I camped for 4 nights in our ClassB Motorhome in early March. Friendly staff .. well landscaped areas .. sites large enough for big rigs. For a few extra dollars I would suggest you get a water front site (St Joseph Bay) .. nice to see great sunsets and to view water from your RV.. Nice marina .. kayak rentals .. general store .. clean showers .. could use a few more hooks in that there are no shelves in showers .. WiFi service is a bit sketchy .. (we are parked by waterfront) .. signal drops out a lot. Laundry room closes at 5pm .. Nice location in that you are a few miles from town of Port St Joe .. (check out ‘Joe Mama’s’ for wood fired pizza and dog friendly .. recommend drive to Cape San Blas .. dog friendly beach. Would recommend staying at Presnell’s !
Great campground, friendly staff. Extremely clean. Pool, laundry room, work out room, deck to sit on and enjoy the sunsets. We were near the pool, restrooms, showers, laundry and still within a short walk to water to watch the sunset. The laundry, workout, deck and two showers are on the 2nd floor along with an area with couch and tv. They also have a refrigerator and you can use the freezer for all our fish catches if needed. More of a rustic restrooms and showers are on ground level. They do have an elevator if needed to get to 2nd floor but need to get key from office to use. They have a fish cleaning station, boat launch, volleyball court as well. Only suggestion would be to let laundry and upstairs restrooms be open earlier than 8AM. FYI – It can at times be quite windy.
My family and I visited the marina portion of this facility this past week on the first opening days of a busy scallop season. The personal at the boat launch were very professional in helping unload and reload your boat, helpful but not pushy. It’s a steal for the $10 fee. Place was clean and well organized. Planning on coming back in R.V soon.
Wonderful place right on the ocean. Friendly people, great showers, awesome pool I’ll be coming back!
Beautiful place. Great campground with clean spacious sites and awesome views!
We have been coming to Presnells for 30+ years, way back before the upgrades to the RV park. The past 2 years have been great with the upgrades that they have made, nice clean restrooms, showers, pool, club house, docks, boat ramp improvements and RV sites. More than double the sites they use to have. We were told that more improvements are coming, too, like a playground, 1 to 2 piers and more sites. We love it here. Oh yeah, the staff is pretty good too. JK, they’re great.
A great place to enjoy the views and a peaceful place.
We had a great week here at Presnell’s. The pool was awesome. . Gideon loved swimming and meeting other kids. clean bathrooms Great fishing. we love PSJ.
This was our first trip to Presnell’s . Super impressed with the clean grounds clean pool and friendly staff with a beautiful view and affordable rates.
A great place to be! Clean, well maintained, and friendly!!
Fun for the whole family! We’ve fished with Presnell’s for 12 years. Always a good time. Love the variety of fish and other critters we see.
Our first time at Presnell’s was this summer. We rented for a month and have no complaints. Very clean and nice place to camp. We will be back.
Amazing staff- beautiful-quiet-very clean!! Highly recommended
Beautiful place! Will come back for sure!
Amazing experience thus far. Beautiful sunset
This is such a beautiful park! The sunsets are breathtaking. Everyone that works here is very friendly and helpful. It’s very clean. It is quiet and peaceful here!!! The pool is always clean and someone is always checking the chemicals. The bath house is clean and the showers are great! There was even a chair in the handicap like shower if you needed to sit down. There is laundry facilities here and that is so helpful. There is a boat ramp and I’ve seen people coming and going using the ramp. The prices are so reasonable. The WiFi is great and there is also full hook-ups and cable. What more could you ask for. It’s only a few miles to the Cape where they have the state park and the beach is gorgeous!!! It only a few miles to PSJ also. There’s ice sold here and a little store for treats and necessities. I would give this park 5 stars!!!
My first fishing trip! Wow! Had the best time! Caught lots of fish! Help these people out by visiting after the damages from the hurricane!
Wonderful place to stay. Great office staff, clean campgrounds and nice boat ramp and docks. The wind blew a little, but we still caught fish. This will definitely be a yearly trip.
Peaceful place; nice view of the gulf and more than adequate services for an RV park. Very happy!
We have been here for the last two years and had the best time. We are scheduled to go back again in June. I love the atmosphere to camp in. We found awesome places to eat. The fishing is really good. Can’t wait to go again.
Absolutely LOVE this place!!! Super friendly and clean!
Absolutely paradise!!! Bud and Kim were amazing hosts!!
Cannot say enough about this place. We are here for the month of June and it has already been the best trip ever. The convenience of fishing, swimming, parking our motor coach has been nothing but a great experience. The staff are so friendly, and the improvements are nothing but top notch!
Came to stay for a week. We were very happy all week. Facilities are always spotless and very modern..nicest I have ever seen. Even nicer than Disneys campground. Grounds are clean and sites are laid out well. Marina is great easy in to launch. Got site 7 and we kept our boat in the water behind the camper. Kept the kayaks in the point at the end. Everyone was friendly and nice. Fished a lot and boated out to the cape and eagle point. Mind the tides though because at low tide there is a sandbar in the channel you will have to literally get out and push your boat over the bar. It’s literally just above your ankles deep at low tide in that spot. Pool was beautiful and crystal clean. Lots of kids riding bikes and playing games and enjoying themselves. A good family friendly place. Make your reservations early
Very nice waterfront sites. New clean pool. Nice clubhouse. Their staff is all sooo nice and helpful.
We love our camping trips here! Staff, sites, pool, bath houses are terrific. We’ll be back again.
Very clean and well groomed camp sites. Right on the bay with tons of perks like a pool, clubhouse, game room, and exercise room.
This place is awesome!! Took grandkids for their spring break April 1 thru 7th. We will most defiantly be going back soon!!
Yes, it’s possible to find love at first sight. Love everything about Presnell’s.
Really cool slice of old Florida. The folks there really take care of you. The guides are the best.
This place is awesome!! Took grandkids for their spring break April 1 thru 7th. We will most defiantly be going back soon!!
Great site and very accommodating. Great location and view. Pet friendly. Yay.
Thanks for a great stay (in spite of the weather!). The scenery is beautiful and I love what you have done to the place. Loved the clubhouse and the folks who are there daily to help us!
Loved this place. Nice. Clean. Quiet. Pets allowed. Laid back relaxing atmosphere. Close to beaches and stores. Perfect spot for us. Will be back ! Thank you !
Stayed for 2 weeks this January. Lot 21, waterfront
We have spent 10 days here with one more day left and it has been beautiful! The people that work here are so nice!
The staff is great, the view is awesome. This is camping in full glory. Heated pool and club house. This is my favorite place to camp.
your campground and accommodations were unforgettable. we truly enjoyed our weekend in the cabin and socializing with our friends and fellow NOLE fans!! thank you folks.. we will be back.
Outstanding service, accommodations are excellent and the staff goes the extra mile to make sure your visit is what you expected! The best kept secret in North Florida.
Loved it. First time this past weekend but already booked for next year. Great campgroung, great staff. No complaints at all!
Your campground and accommodations were unforgettable. We truly enjoyed our weekend in the cabin and socializing with our friends and fellow NOLE fans. Thank you folks. We will be back.
We just got home from a seven day stay and it was absolutely great, the sunset at our spot was totally amazing. … Very friendly staff, and great service from Shannon, she was always great !!! Look forward to coming back next year.. The only bad thing was the bugs was absolutely horrible this year!!! Not sure why they were so bad, but they were unreal to deal with. “Oh and did I say pet friendly” that made our stay even more magical.. hope to see you in 2017!! One complaint, needs cable, then life is good, because when the bugs take over do you need something to do… otherwise truly amazing ..and very nice private bath house that is clean!! (Sep 16)
We would go back. Beautiful views. Dog friendly. We have a long story on how we got here, but this place was a Godsend! Stayed a week and loved every minute!
Our first of many trips we will be making to this pristine camp ground! The bathhouses are immaculate, the pool and clubhouse are brand new, and the campers and ground keepers were some of the best people you could meet.
We spend the week after July 4th at the site with 3 kids.. ages 6, 12 and 16. We LOVED all the natural nature things to do. We snorkeled, we fished, we rented a boat, we went swimming at a beach, scavenger hunted, swam in the pool, we caught all kinds of crabs, blue crabs, fiddler crabs, we caught shrimp, snails, horseshoe crabs.. all kinds of really great things. The kids learned so much on this trip. The facilities are immaculately kept and the staff is so sweet. We are already talking about when we can go back!

We stayed here for our last day of our 4th July trip. As we pulled in we fell in love! First, this is one of the cleanest campgrounds I have been to. Second, the staff are so courteous and helpful. Third, the location is breathe taking (on the water). Fourth, their facilities are beyond words! The new pool and clubhouse make you feel as if you at high end estate. Top it off with a wrap around second story patio and seating with unobstructed views of the ocean bay…Priceless! We are looking forward to our next stay including kayaking. Thank you to the staff that made our stay one of the best we have ever had!
Very helpful people and a great place to camp! Our boys loved watching the boats come in and out. On the Crystal clear water and lots of sea critters. Not to mention the cleanest bathhouses EVER. We are already picking our next date.
Just paradise. We camped for a week. Met some of the nicest people, great water views, lots to do. It stole my heart
Great park. Staff is friendly and park is very clean and well done with the new club house.
Relaxing & clean. Most cabins are like new and include most commonly-used appliances. Comfortable sites w/ picnic table, and small deck/patio; most with a great view. Courteous, friendly, & knowledgeable staff. Boat rentals available. Activities incl: volleyball, fishing, boating. Good sized fish cleaning table. Well stocked camp store for fishing as well as camping. Pool & community room to open soon. Perfect place to launch kayaks & paddleboards, which can be rented here. Also some of the most beautiful, colorful sunsets!
Had a great time at Presnell’s this week for my little guys Spring Break, done reserved 3 more trips down there fishing is great staff is amazing! Thank you for a great week!
We recently spent from Mar 8 to Mar 11 2017 here. The RV spaces are not stacked on top of each other. Great sunset views from the sites on the bay, but all of the sites are a very short walk to the shoreline. I understand the park came under new management last March and their efforts to improve have been noticeably successful. No online reservations, but they answer the phone, unlike other places we have visited. All of the services (water, elec., cable, wifi, etc.) worked just fine. Easy drive to good restaurants in either direction out of the park. Port St Joe is about 3 miles north and Appalachicola is about 30 miles south east – a very pretty drive in either direction. In all, a very pleasant stay.
We stayed two nights and we WILL be back! Managers Kim and Bud are great. Clean, great views, good little marina store and fabulous sunsets.
We absolutely loved this RV resort. My boys had already started planning their next trip before we even pulled out of the driveway! Very sweet staff and super knowledgeable. We hope to spend many more trips with this sweet staff and their surroundings!
We are a family from Argentina traveling all over the south coast of the US in an RV and this is a wonderful place. Sunsets are great and silence while we watch stars is unbelievable.
Wonderful environment, awesome staff and a beautiful location. Love all the improvements!! Our go to rv resort year round!
Can’t wait to go again in May and stay in one of the new cottages. Hoping the fishing will be good! (Jan 17)

My wife & I just left this morning (Sunday)- we arrived Wednesday (day before Thanksgiving)- Site #14 right on the Bay- EXCELLENT stay- very nice park- Bath house is made for just 1 person at a time which is great -you have your privacy- it was ALWAYS very clean with GREAT Hot water – the shower area is LARGE with shower head coming straight down out of the ceiling!!- I used it every night and it was always clean-other Campers must have liked it enough to be respectful and help keep it clean too!- Great eating in the area- only 4.5 miles to Downtown Port St Joe- Really enjoyed our stay there for 5 days!!- WE WILL BE BACK!! (Nov 16)
Found this park while camping at Cape San Blas. RV sites as well as cabins. Under new management. Friendly helpful staff. Some sites back up to the bay. Plenty of room to sit and watch perfect sunsets. Boat-ramp if you bring a boat or you can rent boats there. Friendly and helpful staff. Nearby to Indian Pass Raw Bar (a must visit), Port St Joe, Mexico Beach, and Apalachicola. (Nov 16)
This is my wife’s 65th birthday, we wanted someplace on the budget side..this is it…….a small resort with the attitude of people actually caring…Shannon and everyone is so great….We wanted to find a place we can start coming back to year after year…and not have to break the bank !! And we found it….
I kinda hate to brag about this place so we can always have a home #2….A place called Bayou Rv/Boat storage with boat and Rv parts about five minutes away…and not over priced…
The sunsets are truly amazing, at night the stars are so bright a fell asleep out side looking at them..By the summer of 2017 a brand new pool and a club house with a viewing deck will be done..
The current owners have installed all new electric, sewer and water this past summer..brand new picnic tables also..
The pads and roads are are gravel, but pads are level and spacious, it was very easy for this old man to back out 40 foot motorhome in…please give Shannon a call and bug her…..just don’t say I suggest it…
Stephen and Ann Smith with our two dogs Snickers and Izzie…
40ft Dutch Star with our yellow Jeep in tow.
Be safe everyone.. (Nov 16)
(Oct 16)
Presnell’s is absolutely my favorite beach/bay RV resort! We had a nice lot right on the St Joe Bay with the ability to slide our kayak and SUP right into the bay from our campsite. Close to Port St Joe and Cape San Blas also! Such a clean and well maintained place with a really nice staff! Thanks Kim and staff for a great stay! We will definitely be back (Oct 16)
We had a recent stay there and loved it so much that we added days to our stay! The staff were all so helpful and friendly. We used the boats they have there and were thrilled to see some sea turtles and did some shark fishing one afternoon. The blue crab catch was excellent and we plan to come back during scalloping season. We caught something different for dinner every day. Plenty to do or a great place to relax. There’s even an island nearby that we paddled our kayaks out to and took some great sunset pics. Palm trees and sand and sunsets…..what could be better? (Oct 16)
Love this place right on the gulf places very well kept up not expensive. People are very friendly. I’ll go back here in a minute. I think this is our new hurricane hole. (Oct 16)
We arrived at Presnell’s Campground on Wednesday and the folks at the front desk were helpful and friendly. The campground recently had a complete makeover and we had waterfront sites (two fifth wheel campers) The sites were rock paved and the areas were well grassed. Easy hookup. Your RV antenna picks up stations in the area. Sunsets were exceptional. The bay offers good fishing, kayaking and boating and it is very close by vehicle to St. Joe State Park. If you have a boat, the State Park Marina is just across the Bay. Restaurants in Port St. Joe are excellent and there are several fish markets to choose from. The campgrounds is adding amenities and there are several park model units that will be available. We rate this campground “Excellent.” (Aug 16)
Great time! Nice campground, clean, easy access, level sites. We will be back .
Just got home from a 5 day stay and enjoyed it very much. Gorgeous sunsets, friendly staff, loved the area, will be 5 stars when the pool is done. Will definitely be back especially if the nightly rates don’t go up!
Excellent, newly renovated park. Beautiful view with friendly staff, we will be back. We camped at Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
