Ranked “America’s #1 Beach” for 2002 by Dr. Stephen Leatherman, Cape San Blas and its St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, boasts 50-foot tall sand dunes, uninhabited pristine beaches and crystal clear waters.
Looking west from Presnell’s across St. Joseph Bay, you’ll see Bird Island and Black’s Island with Cape San Blas in the background creating spectacular sunsets our campers have enjoyed for generations.
From Presnell’s, it’s a short car ride to “The Cape” or, by boat, it’s about a 10-minute run across the bay. Much of the area in between is some of the best scalloping grounds to be found anywhere in Florida.
